Welcome to the blog!

Welcome to the new Transmission Innovations blog. For our first post, we would like to briefly introduce you to the company and give you a rundown on what you can expect to read from us over the coming weeks and months. Feel free to contribute to the conversation by commenting at the end of each post or by connecting with us on our Facebook or Twitter profiles. Your thoughts and insights are appreciated, and if there are any topics you would like us to address in the future, do let us know.

First of all, a little background on Transmission Innovations. The company was founded by two veterans of the power line supply business, one with experience of polymers and resins, the other with power line supply experience. They then designed and extensively tested our range of transmission and distribution poles and members, constructed from the new generation, innovative materials.

In the course of this blog, we will be addressing issues such as the materials that have historically been used in the industry and the new materials that are becoming available. We will discuss the pros and cons of each and provide you with more information on the options that advances in materials technology are bringing to the field.

We will cover some of the broader industry trends that are occurring, and to the best of our ability, predict the impact that they will have on companies operating within the sector. Environmental concerns and the resultant regulatory requirements will be addressed, along with a focus on the opportunities new and dispersed power generation technologies will present. A regular thought leader post will highlight the contributions of major players in the industry, both from a business and a technology perspective.

From our perspective, we will talk about how our products can be used most effectively to reduce costs while increasing safety and reliability. We will show you how easily and safely our products can be installed and will be providing case studies of our existing customers who have already achieved success through using our products.

Again, welcome to the new blog and we hope to see you on here in the future, engaging with the community and developing the conversation around our industry.
